Analyst / Senior Analyst

Job Description

Additional Responsibilities :

• Assist with cashbook, bank and custody asset reconciliation within responsibility are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure end of day banking process are carried out timely and accuratelya
• Review procedures to ensure are up to date
• To assist in any audits taking place and clear any audit points that are raised within the timescale given
• Contribute towards departmental and company-wide projects when required

Key Stakeholder Management

Internal

Regular contact with reconciliation break owners to ensure timely resolution action taken.

External

May be required to contact external vendors

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills (Must Have) :

• Understanding of basic accounting rules
• Knowledge of Excel (including advanced excel functions)
• Good analytical skills and determination to complete a task
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to details
• Problem solving skills

Knowledge & Skills (Additional) :

• Understanding of CASS rules and regulations
• Knowledge of  Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience:

• Working in a reconciliation and/or accounting role
• Good understanding of custody asset and cash reconciliation procedures

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
