## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. As a standalone company, the Mobility business will be more focused and agile, creating exciting opportunities for employees to grow, innovate, and help shape the future of mobility. The separation reflects strong confidence in the Mobility team and positions the new company as an employer of choice in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry.\n\nThe compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton\u0027s plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.\n\nThis position involves sourcing of parts required for VG-After Market (Support Aftermarket growth in the \u201cBuy \u0026 Sell\u201d model) for VG in India. This includes achieving material cost, managing material inflation / deflation \u0026 supporting materials team to meet production and inventory control. \n\u2022 Identify right (technically and commercially) suppliers to support AFM growth and product expansion \n\u2022 Preparing a complete RFQs and sending these RFQs to strategic suppliers. Clarifying technical details with engineering and commercial issues with GM purchasing for these RFQs. \n\u2022 Review \u0026 comparison of quotations. Negotiate pricing with suppliers to meet the target costs estimated in business case. \n\u2022 Get aligned with regional category managers for supplier selection. \n\u2022 Monitor and track the commodity trends. \n\u2022 Develop a strong Supplier - Eaton relationship with a partnership concept. \n\u2022 Collaborate with supplier and Initiate cost reduction projects/VAVE to drive cost out. \n\u2022 Work along with SDEs to address supplier quality issues. \n\u2022 Implementation and adherence to the Eaton aftermarket procurement process. \n\u2022 Demonstrate very high level of Integrity and Drive compliance to the Eaton Code of Ethics and hold suppliers accountable for ethical conduct in all the transactions. \n\u2022 Adherence to regulatory requirements and governance. \n\u2022 Supplier Relation Management: Manage supplier Relationship with key stake holders across supplier structure and ensure seamless flow of business, regular supplies, handling quality concerns with prompt actions and managing the payment cycle. \n\u2022 Work closely with Aftermarket sales team for forecasts and work with materials team on ramp up/down for respective projects. \n\u2022 Work with marketing team for product packing, branding and artwork. \n\u2022 Work closely with the sales and marketing team to look for supplier partners for range extension and product expansions \n\u2022 Stay vigilant on any risk to due to supplier challenges or expanding directly in the market.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s in mechanical / production / Automobile Engineering or MBA in Operations \n\u2022 5-8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement in Auto Component \n \n\n\n## Skills:\n\n\u2022 Awareness of quality systems \n\u2022 Knowledge on Vendor development /Quality check methodology \n\u2022 Excellent communication skills in English (written \u0026 verbal) \n\u2022 Relationship with suppliers as well as customers \u2013 Internal and External \n\u2022 Cross Functions Team Working Skills due to Matrix Organization reporting \n\u2022 Analytical skills\n
