Role Description

An ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing and deploying business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, combined with strong business analysis skills to translate business requirements into actionable data insights. You will be working with a talented team of professionals and playing a key role in delivering analytics and reporting solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for the end -to -end BI delivery lifecycle from requirement gathering and data modelling through to dashboard development and user enablement ensuring deliverables meet agreed quality standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a driven and result oriented individual with a skill set across the following areas:

• Eliciting, analysing, and documenting business and reporting requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews
  
• Translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and BI solution designs
  
• Designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualisations
  
• Building robust data models using star/snowflake schemas, DAX measures, and Power Query (M) transformations
  
• Connecting and integrating data from multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Excel, APIs, cloud data platforms)
  
• Optimising report performance, data refresh, and dataset design for scalability
  
• Implementing row -level security (RLS) and governance within the Power BI service
  
• Conducting gap analysis, as -is/to -be process mapping, and data validation
  
• Driving forward the delivery of high -quality work on -time and on -budget
  
• Working closely with clients to manage stakeholder expectations and delivery assumptions
  
• Facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting deployment and adoption
  
• Conducting end -user training, creating documentation, and enabling self -service analytics
  
• Using a variety of delivery methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
  
• Identifying and managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies across the project
  
• Collaborating with cross -functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery
  
• Identifying areas for process improvement and contributing to BI best practices and reusable assets
  

Requirements

• 4 -6 years of proven experience delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI
  
• Strong hands -on expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling
  
• Demonstrable business analyst experience - requirements gathering, functional documentation, and stakeholder management
  
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
  
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases
  
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, or cloud data platforms is good to have
  
• Experience working with ERP data sources (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is advantageous
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• Ability to identify and understand Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies
  
• Proven experience of working with clients and offshore delivery centres and remote teams
  
• Strong organisational skills managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  
• Microsoft certifications (PL -300 Power BI Data Analyst, or equivalent) is good to have
  
• Strong Technical and Emotional Quotient
