This role is a strategic leadership opportunity at the heart of a fast-growing digital platform, responsible for shaping how data drives decision-making across multiple business verticals. You will lead a high-performing analytics team focused on transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support product, operations, marketing, and finance functions. The position plays a critical role in defining analytics strategy, scaling BI capabilities, and enabling data democratization across the organization. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to solve business challenges using data-driven approaches. The environment is fast-paced, multicultural, and highly dynamic, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on leadership. This role offers the chance to directly influence business growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience at scale.
Accountabilities:
- Define and execute the overall analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals across multiple markets and service lines.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and BI professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Build and scale a robust analytics framework supporting decision-making across product, operations, marketing, and finance.
- Oversee the development of dashboards, KPIs, reports, and self-service analytics tools to enable data accessibility across the organization.
- Partner with business and technical teams to translate complex challenges into actionable insights and analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and scalability of analytics infrastructure.
- Manage prioritization and delivery of analytics initiatives, ensuring timely execution and measurable business impact.
- Promote best practices in data governance, reporting standards, and visualization techniques.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or related roles, including at least 3+ years in team leadership.
- Proven experience scaling analytics functions in fast-paced, high-growth technology or platform-based environments.
- Strong expertise in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake or BigQuery and familiarity with ETL processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing multicultural or distributed teams is highly desirable.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field preferred.
- Nice to have: experience in ride-hailing, delivery, fintech, or exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics.
