Android Developer

Position Overview

At Zimply, we are trying to create world class tech products to be consumed by people who love their homes, essentially everyone. Zimply is looking for Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and testing


• Experience in Agile development


• Willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software


• Experience with the android platform, Java and android Developer tools, Object oriented Analysis and Design Expertise.


• Feedback in architectural, design and product discussions


• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.


• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.


• Experience in Multi-Threaded programming


• Thorough understanding of XML, JSON , Web Services technologies and data structure fundamentals


• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. 

Requirement

• 3+ years of experience (Android development)


• Solid coding and problem solving skills with ability to architect cross team features to refactoring existing frameworks


• Exposure to a wide range of problem spaces and technologies and the ability to evaluate upcoming technologies


• Ability to create strong working relationships within and across functional teams


• Deep understanding of distributed systems and familiarity with design patterns


• Android Native Development Experience


• Full time Bachelor’s degree from a tier 1 institute ( preferably from -IITs/BITS/NITs)
