Android Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an Android Developer with 1-2 years of hands-on experience building reliable, high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to develop and improve user-facing mobile experiences

.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and enhance Android applications.


• Build clean, reusable, and maintainable code using Kotlin and/or Java.


• Integrate REST APIs and work with backend services.


• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into responsive mobile experiences.


• Identify and resolve performance issues, crashes, and bugs.


• Participate in code reviews, testing, release cycles, and technical discussions.


• Work with Git-based development workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Stay updated with Android platform changes and mobile development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional Android development experience.


• Strong knowledge of Kotlin; working knowledge of Java is preferred.


• Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Activities, Fragments, and application lifecycle.


• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party library integration.


• Understanding of MVVM/MVC or similar mobile architecture patterns.


• Familiarity with Git and version control.


• Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience with Jetpack components, Coroutines, Room, Retrofit, or dependency injection.


• Knowledge of app performance optimization and Play Store release processes.


• Experience working in a product-focused or fast-paced environment.
