Anesthesia

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations including medical history, physical examination, and assessment of diagnostic data.
  

• Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to each patient’s needs and surgical procedure.
  

• Administer general, regional, local, or monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
  

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthetic depth during procedures, adjusting as necessary.
  

• Manage airway and provide life support during procedures when required.
  

• Recognize and respond promptly to anesthetic complications or emergencies.
  

• Oversee post-anesthesia recovery and pain management, ensuring patient stability.
  

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all anesthesia-related care.
  

• Supervise residents, CRNAs, or medical students as assigned.
  

• Participate in quality improvement and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
  

• Adhere to institutional policies, safety protocols, and best practice guidelines.
