Job Title: App Store Optimization Specialist
Overview:
The App Store Optimization Specialist plays a critical role in driving organic app installs, improving install conversion rates, and supporting subscriber acquisition by optimizing metadata, creative assets, and app store discoverability. This role directly impacts organic acquisition growth, install efficiency, and overall streaming subscriber growth. This role is responsible for optimizing and managing app store listings across Cineverse’s streaming portfolio for Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Key Responsibilities
Manage intake, optimization, and publishing of app store listings for Cineverse Streaming apps.
Build and maintain ASO trackers and performance dashboards, ensuring listing updates, keyword optimization, and creative assets are implemented accurately and on schedule.
Coordinate workflows between Marketing, Creative, Product, and Programming teams to ensure app store listings align with content releases, campaign launches, and subscriber acquisition initiatives.
Optimize app metadata including titles, descriptions, keyword fields, screenshots, and preview assets using researched keywords to improve discoverability and install conversion rates.
Support app store submission and release processes, ensuring listings are published correctly and troubleshooting submission or listing issues as needed.
Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, proactively identifying optimization opportunities, listing performance risks, or submission issues and escalating as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in App Store Optimization, mobile growth marketing, or digital marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field required
Strong understanding of Apple App Store and Google Play Store ecosystems
Experience conducting keyword research and optimizing app store metadata
Experience analyzing install performance and conversion metrics
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in streaming, media, gaming, or consumer entertainment
Experience with ASO tools
Experience with attribution platforms
Preferred certifications or experience in ASO, SEO or mobile growth marketing.
