We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Apparel Designer with 7–13 years of industry experience to join our dynamic design team. This role is ideal for an innovative professional who is passionate about fashion and apparel design, possesses a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of garment construction, materials, design aesthetics, and fashion trends, along with the ability to translate ideas into compelling clothing collections that resonate with the target market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop original apparel designs across product categories such as casual wear, formal wear, activewear, or lifestyle collections, aligned with the brand identity and seasonal trends.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify evolving consumer preferences, fashion movements, fabrics, colors, and techniques.
• Translate fashion trends and conceptual ideas into commercial, wearable designs using CAD tools, sketches, and tech packs.
• Collaborate closely with the merchandising, product development, and sourcing teams to ensure timely execution of collections from concept to final sample.
• Create mood boards, color palettes, fabric swatches, and garment prototypes that reflect seasonal themes.
• Oversee fittings and review samples for style, fit, and construction, making necessary changes and improvements.
• Work with pattern makers, technical designers, and suppliers to refine designs and ensure quality and consistency in final products.
• Monitor design and production timelines to meet deadlines while maintaining design integrity and cost efficiency.
• Maintain a clear understanding of the target customer, market positioning, and pricing strategy.
• Ensure all apparel designs adhere to sustainability standards and brand values.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
• 7–13 years of hands-on experience in apparel/fashion design within a retail or design studio environment.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and CAD software.
• Strong sketching ability and a solid understanding of textile properties, garment construction, pattern making, and finishing techniques.
• Deep understanding of fashion cycles, consumer behavior, seasonal trends, and brand development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices is a plus.
