Job Description - Application Security Lead - Capital Market

Job Summary:

The Application Security Lead will be responsible for ensuring the security of software applications throughout their

development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and lead the organization's application security program.

Conduct secure code reviews, threat modelling, and application vulnerability assessments.

Integrate security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines.

Define and enforce secure coding practices and standards.

Work closely with development and DevOps teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Track and report application security metrics and risk posture to management.

Requirements

Work Experience:

8+ years of experience in application security, with expertise in secure SDLC

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.

Proficiency in security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST) and methodologies.

Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common application vulnerabilities.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills with development teams.

Relevant certifications (OSWE, CSSLP, GWAPT, or equivalent) preferred.
