DESCRIPTION:
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll join a dedicated team providing world-class scientific expertise and support to customers. As a Field Applications Scientist, you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor helping customers optimize their use of our advanced technologies across multiple scientific domains. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional pre-sales and post-sales support through product demonstrations, hands-on training, troubleshooting assistance, and technical consultation. Working closely with sales teams and cross-functional partners, you'll help customers achieve significant discoveries while building long-term relationships that drive business success. This role offers extensive opportunities for professional growth and development within an organization committed to enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience with relevant instrumentation and applications
• Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or related discipline
• Additional relevant certifications a plus
• Demonstrated expertise in field application support, customer training, and technical troubleshooting
• Strong presentation and communication skills for delivering technical content to diverse audiences
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions
• Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence for understanding customer needs
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant scientific software
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills beneficial
• Experience with data analysis, experimental design, and method development
• Deep technical knowledge of specific product portfolio and applications
• Understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous learning
