Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Support
professional with 7+ years of experience in the Trading / Capital Markets
domain. The candidate will be responsible for providing L2/L3 production
support for critical trading applications, ensuring smooth functioning of
business operations, incident management, troubleshooting, and coordination
with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to
trading platforms, market operations, production support activities, SQL,
Unix/Linux, incident management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support for trading and capital market
  applications.
  
• Monitor production environments and ensure high availability of
  applications.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, batch, and data -related
  issues within defined SLAs.
  
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams
  for issue resolution.
  
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and
  provide preventive solutions.
  
• Support trading operations and ensure minimal downtime during
  market hours.
  
• Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.
  
• Monitor application logs, server health, and batch processes.
  
• Execute deployment and release support activities.
  
• Prepare support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer
  documents.
  
• Participate in weekend deployments and production releases
  whenever required.
  
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and organizational compliance
  standards.
  

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Application Production Support.
  
• Good knowledge of Trading / Capital Market applications.
  
• Hands -on experience with SQL queries and database troubleshooting.
  
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
  
• Experience in incident management and ticketing tools.
  
• Exposure to monitoring tools and log analysis.
  
• Knowledge of batch monitoring and job scheduling.
  
• Understanding of APIs, interfaces, and data flow processes.
  

Domain Skills

• Strong understanding of Trading Lifecycle.
  
• Exposure to Equities, Derivatives, Wealth, or Capital Market
  operations.
  
• Experience supporting front -office or middle -office trading
  applications preferred.
  

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  
• Ability to work under pressure during trading hours.
  
• Good coordination and team collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related
  field.
  
• ITIL certification preferred.
  

Experience in BFSI / NBFS domain preferred
