Description:

We are looking for QS/AQS Civil for supporting our pre-tender project team.
Job Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Responsible for taking off all items required to complete each BQ package
▪ Responsible for ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in any given task
▪ Responsible for ensuring that all drawings, details and specification have been reviewed when taking off any BQ package
▪ Ensure quantities are dynamically linked to drawings wherever possible
▪ Review specification and overmark clauses to confirm that all measurable items have been included in the BQ
▪ Review drawings and highlight all notes and details to confirm that all measurable items have been included in the BQ
▪ Incorporate all manual take offs and workings within level 3 of CostX workbook
▪ Confirm that all drawings have been calibrated against a stated dimension where pdf drawings have been used to measure the works
▪ Raise TQ’s using the Internal TQ register for the following and notify the PLQS regarding Missing Information/Discrepancies in drawings, spec and schedules/Assumptions being made and any clarifications that are required
▪ Ensure TQ responses are incorporated into the BQ
▪ Complete BQ cover sheet using Soben standard template ensuring the following, all drawings used have been stated with correct revision number stated, the Specification used is stated and all measurement notes, assumptions and clarifications are included in the notes section
▪ Check all live links
▪ Check calculations in working sheets where required
▪ Check abstract of quantity from working sheets to draft BQ
▪ Present BQ for final QA to PLQS
▪ Responsible for delivery of accurate complete and robust take off to the required standards “first time” and “on time” to the PLQS
▪ Offer willing support to team members, promoting a positive and can-do attitude that will inspire those around you

Preferred Qualification / Relevant Experience

▪ 1-7 years experience required for QS/AQS. (Please do not apply if you don't fall in this bracket)

▪ Diploma/B. Tech - Civil Engineering

▪ Knowledge of CostX will be preferrable
