AR Associate - Charge entry

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter patient charges, procedures, and services into the billing system


• Review and verify documentation for completeness and accuracy


• Ensure charges are entered in a timely manner to support prompt billing


• Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information


• Work closely with coding and billing teams to ensure proper charge capture


• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies


• Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity


• Assist with other revenue cycle tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 10+2 or Bachelor’s degree 


• 1–4 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or healthcare administration


• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes preferred


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Proficient in data entry and computer systems (EHR/EMR experience a plus)


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
