Architect - Data Engineering

Job Description

Design scalable, high -performance data solutions using Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data bricks, and Azure Synapse.

Develop and implement robust data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing solutions using Snowflake, BigQuery, and other relevant technologies.

Ensure data solutions align with business goals and comply with industry standards and best practices.

Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.

Utilize T -SQL, Python, PySpark, and DBT to manage and transform data effectively.

Implement data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information.

Develop and maintain advanced data analytics and visualization solutions using Power BI and Tableau.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.

Drive the adoption of data -driven decision -making processes within the organization.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team.

Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data architecture.

Lead and participate in Agile Scrum processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of data projects.

Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of data requirements and solutions.

Provide exceptional client service, addressing and resolving technical issues promptly.

Manage techno -functional aspects of data projects, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs.

Ensure data systems are reliable, available, and performant, meeting the needs of the organization.

Implement and maintain IT service management best practices to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and data management.

Extensive experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data bricks, and Azure Synapse.

Proficiency in Snowflake, BigQuery, and other cloud -based data warehousing solutions.

Strong skills in T -SQL, Python, PySpark, and DBT.

Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data analytics.

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and IT service management best practices.

Excellent problem -solving skills and ability to work in a fast -paced, dynamic environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and technical teams effectively.

Certifications in Azure, GCP, or other relevant technologies (preferred).

Experience in techno -functional management and client services (preferred).

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
