Job Description

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Configuration
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance modules (FI, CO) for retail operations.
  • Implement processes for General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.
  • Set up R2R workflows including period-end closing, consolidation, and reporting.
• Integration
  • Integrate finance processes with procurement, merchandising, and supply chain modules.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between operational systems and financial reporting tools.
• Compliance & Controls
  • Implement tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance within SAP.
  • Configure internal controls and audit trails for financial transactions.
• Process Optimization
  • Automate financial closing and reporting processes.
  • Enable real-time analytics for profitability and cost management.
• Support & Training
  • Provide Level 3 support for finance and controlling-related SAP issues.
  • Conduct workshops and training for finance and business teams.

 

Qualifications/Skills we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
  • Experience with R2R processes, financial closing, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Fiori apps and SAP Analytics Cloud for financial reporting.
• Domain Knowledge
  • Understanding of retail finance operations (store-level accounting, promotions impact, inventory valuation).
  • Exposure to IFRS/GAAP compliance and tax regulations.
• Experience
  • SAP Finance implementations.
  • At least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA projects with finance and control focus

 

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certification in S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting or BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
