We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales efforts and drive business growth within a designated geographic territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of customer behavior, and a proven ability to meet and exceed targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to inspire and manage a team of sales professionals.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue goals, expanding market presence, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about sales, and is looking to make a measurable impact in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:
    Meet and exceed sales targets set for the assigned territory. Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing customer base.
  • Territory Management:
    Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies. Analyze territory performance and create action plans to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership:
    Supervise and mentor a team of sales representatives. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to drive results and ensure professional growth of team members.
  • Market Development:
    Identify new business opportunities, understand market trends, and analyze competitors to stay ahead in the market. Execute local marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and problem resolution.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    Prepare and present accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management. Utilize data to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Cross-functional Coordination:
    Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure customer expectations are met and operational efficiencies are maintained.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B or B2C setting.
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage.
  • Core Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to analyze sales data and derive actionable insights
    • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and reporting systems
    • Willingness to travel within assigned territory
