Job Overview

We are hiring an Area Sales Manager - East (Publishing) for our client based at Kolkata, West Bengal. As an Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the sales in the Eastern region of India. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the publishing industry. The job location is Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This is a full-time role.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the Eastern regionManage a team of sales representatives and provide guidance, coaching, and trainingBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and publishers in the publishing industryIdentify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the market presence in the Eastern regionMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growthPrepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the management teamCollaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and marketing materialsAttend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to represent the company and network with potential clientsEnsure customer satisfaction by addressing their queries, concerns, and providing timely support
