Area Sales Officer (ASO)

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Area Sales Officer (ASO) to drive sales, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen dealer and customer relationships within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for regular field visits, generating enquiries, expanding market coverage, and achieving sales targets while representing the company professionally. This role is well suited for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about field sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, retailers, builders, contractors, and customers.
  


• Promote the company's products and achieve assigned sales targets within the territory.
  


• Conduct regular field visits to generate enquiries and identify new business opportunities.
  


• Visit dealer outlets, construction sites, and project locations to expand market presence.
  


• Follow up with customers to ensure timely order processing and execution.
  


• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
  


• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.
  


• Prepare and submit daily sales reports and field activity updates.
  


• Support payment collections and follow up on outstanding payments wherever applicable.
  


• Represent the company professionally during customer meetings and site visits.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Any Graduate or Diploma holder.
  


• Freshers to 1 year of experience in Field Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Channel Sales.
  


• Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  


• Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
  


• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  


• Ability to manage multiple customer interactions and field activities efficiently.
  


• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  


• Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.
  


• Comfortable with daily field visits and direct customer interactions.
  


• Experience in Cement, TMT Steel, Building Materials, Construction Materials, or related industries is an added advantage.
  


• Knowledge of the local market and dealer network is preferred.
