As an Art & Craft Teacher, you’ll design and lead engaging sessions that blend traditional techniques with modern creativity — helping students build fine motor skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the arts.

Role & Responsibilities

• Plan and execute age-appropriate art & craft lessons aligned with school curricula and student developmental stages.


• Lead hands-on sessions using diverse mediums — paper, clay, paint, textiles, recyclables — fostering creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor development.


• Create safe, inspiring classroom environments that encourage exploration, self-expression, and peer collaboration.


• Document student progress, display artwork, and participate in school exhibitions, cultural events, and parent engagement activities.


• Collaborate with homeroom teachers and coordinators to integrate art into cross-curricular themes and school-wide initiatives.


• Maintain and organize art supplies, ensure hygiene/safety standards, and manage budget-friendly sourcing of materials.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Proficiency in multiple art mediums (acrylic, watercolor, clay, paper crafts, textile art)


• Experience with children’s art pedagogy and developmental stage-appropriate projects


• Classroom management for K-8 students


• Lesson planning and curriculum alignment


• Safety and hygiene compliance in art workshops


• Portfolio showcasing student artwork or personal creative projects

Preferred

• Certification in Art Education or Montessori/Reggio Emilia training


• Experience with STEAM-integrated art projects


• Ability to conduct art workshops or after-school clubs
