Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using RPG, COBOL, AS400, DB2, and CL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality code aligned with SDLC best practices.
• Write advanced SQL queries, manage version control, and integrate APIs.
• Contribute to system design, architecture, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement through automated testing and performance optimization.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven development experience in RPG, COBOL, AS400, DB2, and CL.
• Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and secure coding principles.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with version control tools.
• Analytical thinking, advanced problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of API integration and enterprise application structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience in automated testing, particularly unit testing.
• Exposure to system design and architecture.
• Experience with cloud-based applications (especially for .NET, Java, IIS, API developer roles).
• Familiarity with WINS and/or the insurance domain is a plus.
