What you’ll be doing:

To ensure planning and deployment of
Network of FTTH (GPON/GEPON/PON) equipment’s

and driving partner teams for the execution
of Outside Plant (OSP) Network covering end to end

requirements and ensuring all the business
services are offered.

telecommunications infrastructure, including fiberoptics, networking equipment,

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Ground Survey:

o Capture soil strata, utility information,
Right of Way formalities and charges for

Underground and Aerial permissions.

o Collect Electric/Light Poles information,
building level information, and perform

home pass surveys as per company format.

• Dark Fiber Routes and Telecom
Infrastructure:

o Conduct surveys for Dark Fiber routes,
Telecom HH, and BTS as per operator[1]provided information.

o Identify and finalize TPF POP locations.

• Data Management:

o Digitize information captured in GIS or
equivalent platforms.

o Handle ROW applications and follow-up for
Demand Notes and subsequent

permissions.

• Partner Onboarding and Network Rollout:

o Onboard partner teams for execution.

o Oversee end-to-end rollout of FTTH
networks through partner teams, ensuring

adherence to Quality standards, TAT, and
KPIs.

• Project Management:

o Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and
oversee material consumption

bookings done by partner teams.

o Ensure First Time Right deployment,
conduct Acceptance tests directly or

through third-party agencies, and clear
punch points within defined TAT.

• Safety and Team Management:

o Ensure strict adherence to safety
measures.

o Manage and supervise large partner teams
and certify their invoices for work

executed within defined timelines.

• Infrastructure Work:

o Oversee POP Infra work, including the
installation and grouting of Networking

Racks, I&C of Battery terminals, SMPS,
Air-conditioning units, electrical work,

and OLT installation through partner teams.

• Network Reporting and Maintenance:

o Provide daily dashboard reporting for
Network Uptime and MTTR for faults and

alarms from the OSP network.

o Work with complex network and switching
systems, configure networks for

smooth data service operations, and resolve
technical issues promptly.

• Equipment Management:

o Oversee new and existing telecom
equipment, hardware, and software upgrades,

maintaining hardware faults at 1% of
installed network elements.

o Generate RMAs for hardware inventory with
respective vendors.

o Manage spare parts, ensuring timely
availability and replacements.

• Work Order Management:

o Handle work order management within TAT,
and oversee material tracking and

management.

o Perform PMT of ISP equipment as per
schedule and provide field support.

• Field Team Guidance:

o Guide field teams in restoring hardware
and software faults.

What all qualifications do we expect:

We're looking for someone with a decent
educational background.

• Education requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
in relevant Field

• Experience: 3-6 years in functional
domain and Specialist knowledge in Technology –

GPON/ GEPON/ PON.
