Job Description - ASP.NET Developer - Mumbai

Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Our client, an IT MNC and a major player in the insurance industry, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and documenting complex programs and scripts, as well as providing technical support and executing application deployment. The role requires expertise in C# with .NET 8, API development, SQL Server, and other cutting -edge technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong ability to prioritize business impact and urgency, learn new technologies quickly, and possess knowledge of general architectural patterns.

Role & Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, correct, and document complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications
Install, configure, customize, and integrate standard software
Implement and execute module/component tests and provide technical documentation
Execute technical application support
Support the deployment and training of the application into the production environment
Monitor service delivery performance metrics and identify required service agreement adjustments

Skill & Competencies:

Proficiency in C# with .NET 8
Experience in API Development (WCF/REST), SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with TFS/GIT and ability to prioritize business impact and urgency
Quick learner with knowledge of general architectural patterns and writing secure software

Good -To -Have:

Knowledge of .Net core, .Net 4.8 asp.net -webforms, SAML, and secure programming
Experience with Cloud Technologies (Containers of .Net Applications) and Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, agile patterns, and insurance business
Proficiency in Resharper

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer or similar role
Strong problem -solving skills and ability to work in a fast -paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Relevant certifications in software development and cloud technologies are a plus
