Assembly Assistant Manager
Location: North Bangalore, India (On-site)

The Company: Our client is a growing aerospace manufacturer in Bangalore focused on precision, quality, and innovation in aerospace component production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Assembly Manager in supervising assembly operators, task allocation, and schedule adherence.
• Support optimization of assembly processes ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and specifications.
• Help troubleshoot assembly issues related to machining tolerances and parts integration (5-axis, CNC, VMC).
• Participate in quality control checks and implement corrective actions.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Support training and development of assembly personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and HSE practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, production planning, and supply chain.
• Maintain assembly documentation, production reports, and quality metrics.

Requirements:

• ~7 years experience in aerospace assembly, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Practical knowledge of 5-axis machining, CNC, and VMC.
• Strong team management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and apply technical drawings and documentation.
• Degree in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent experience preferred.
