About the Role:

SI Surgical Medical Equipment Shopping Mall is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Fulbari, Siliguri. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage store inventory and dispatch planning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Basic Knowledge of Accounts:

• Proficient understanding of accounting principles, especially the "Golden Rules" of accounting.

1. Payment Terms Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to payment terms as per purchase orders.

1. Sales Invoice Generation:

• Create sales invoices using GST knowledge.

1. In-House Billing:

• Handle billing for walk-in customers in the mall.

1. Report Presentation:

• Prepare and present various financial reports.

1. Daily Sales Reporting:

• Compile and present daily sales, collection, and dues reports segmented by sales personnel.

1. Additional Duties:

• Perform all other accountant-related tasks required in a regional office setting.
• Collaborate with the HO Team.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits.
• Support management with financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in GST and sales invoicing.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with sales teams.
