Job Description - Assistant Branch Manager

Position: Assistant Branch Manager

Description:

Mahesan Paraspara Sahaya Nidhi Limited is a leading financial institution that specializes in providing microfinance services to the underprivileged and marginalized communities in India. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of policies and procedures.

2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and addressing their financial needs.

3. Conducting credit assessments and appraisals of loan applications to ensure appropriate risk assessment and maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.

4. Recruiting, training, and managing a team of loan officers to meet branch targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

5. Monitoring the performance of the branch by analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.

6. Participating in outreach activities to promote company products and services and expand the client base.

7. Working closely with the Branch Manager to develop and implement strategies to meet branch targets and increase profitability.

8. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in microfinance or banking industry, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role.

3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.

4. Proven experience in credit assessment and appraisals, with sound knowledge of financial analysis and risk management.

5. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.

6. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and accounting software.

7. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

8. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance.
