Role Overview
Continuum Aviation is seeking a Sales Manager / Assistant Director -Sales
to work closely with the Vice President – Business Development in expanding the
company’s global commercial pipeline.
This role will focus on target account identification,
strategic outreach, lead generation, and pipeline development across the global
business aviation ecosystem.
The position is structured as a 60:40 proactive vs reactive
sales role, with emphasis on identifying high -value target accounts and
generating qualified opportunities that can be advanced through the
organization’s sales process in collaboration with senior leadership.
The individual will also play an important role in
converting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
and nurturing prospects into meaningful commercial discussions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactive Business Development (60%)
2. Identify and research high -value target accounts
across the global business aviation ecosystem.
4. Conduct continuous one -to -one outreach via
email, LinkedIn, and industry networks to initiate conversations with
prospective clients.
5. Schedule and coordinate meetings between
prospective clients and senior leadership.
6. Maintain and develop a structured pipeline of
global aviation accounts.
7. Nurture prospects through early engagement
stages and support their progression through the company’s sales process.
8. MQL to SQL Pipeline Development
Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to
convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
1. Evaluate inbound interest from:
-Website inquiries
-Campaign responses
-Industry events
-Referrals and partnerships
2. Conduct initial qualification conversations to
understand client needs and operational relevance.
3. Ensure high -intent prospects are effectively
transitioned into active opportunities for further engagement with senior
leadership.
9. Trade Shows and Industry Events
Support preparation for global aviation trade shows and
conferences.
Conduct target account mapping and outreach prior to events.
Assist in coordinating meetings with key prospects during
industry events.
Participate in selected aviation events to expand the
company’s network and generate qualified leads.
1. Reactive
Sales Engagement (40%)
Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries and industry
referrals.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand client
operational requirements.
Coordinate internally to ensure prospects receive relevant
service information.
Maintain engagement with prospects as they move through
early stages of the sales process.
1. Relationship
Development
Build long -term relationships with stakeholders across the
global business aviation ecosystem.
Position Continuum Aviation as a trusted partner for India
and sub -continent flight operations support.
Maintain engagement with prospects through industry
insights, operational updates, and targeted communication.
Universal Aviation
Worldwide network of FBO locations, ground handlers, and ground supervisory agents. Focused on private aviation.
