Assistant Engineer for PEC PEx – AP CSA Engineering (based in Chennai, India)

We are looking for “Assistant Engineer, CSA” to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to “Manager, Engineering, India”.  In this position, you will have an opportunity to carry out all Engineering activities of Steel Structures Designing and Detailing for all kinds of structures associated with Boiler, Evaporators and related Auxiliary Equipment. Also, you should play a team role in coordinating with other disciplines for the required input and execution activities in CSA.

In this position, you will be required to,

To carry out the Design in Staad for the design of Steel Structures related to Boilers, Evaporators and related Auxiliary Equipment. To carry out the Design calculations as required related with Structures (Ex: Connections Design, Anchor Bolts, Base Plates etc.,) To Carry out (Checking) the Detail Engineering of the above said Structures Coordinating with other disciplines as and when required for the CSA Engineering Project Executions Document part of CSA Engineering To Support the Sales cases from CSA Parts Handling / Coordinating with the Partners / Suppliers for CSA Engineering outsourcing

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Or) master’s degree in Structural Engineering 1-3 years of experience in relevant field. Knowledge of Design Codes & Standards related to Steel Structures Design Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
