Description

Join our growing GCC US Water Team and work on impactful infrastructure projects across Drainage, Water Supply, Wastewater, Stormwater, Hydrology, and Conveyance Systems supporting projects across the United States.

As an Assistant Engineer (P1), you will work alongside experienced engineers and global subject matter experts to deliver sustainable and innovative water solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise in water infrastructure design, hydraulic modelling, and digital engineering while contributing to major infrastructure programs.



Responsibilities

Support the design and analysis of:
o Stormwater and drainage systems
o Water distribution and transmission pipelines
o Wastewater collection systems
o Conveyance and utility corridors
 Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and modelling studies.
 Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design documentation, and
drawings.
 Support pipeline sizing, drainage network design, and stormwater management
solutions.
 Assist in flood risk assessments, runoƯ calculations, and hydrologic analyses.
 Work with multidisciplinary teams across Water, Transportation, Environmental,
and Digital Delivery disciplines.
 Develop design deliverables in accordance with WSP quality standards and
applicable US client requirements.
 Participate in design reviews, QA/QC activities, and project coordination
meetings.

 Collaborate with US-based project managers and technical leads to support
project delivery.

 HEC-HMS
 SWMM / PCSWMM
 ArcGIS / QGIS
 AutoCAD
 Bentley ORD Drainage
 Microstation



Qualifications

 Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related discipline.
 Master's Degree in Water Resources / Environmental Engineering is advantageous.
 Strong academic background with interest in water infrastructure projects.
