Assistant Manager- Accounts & Compliance

Role Overview: - We are looking for a meticulous and reliable
Assistant Account Manager to oversee accounting operations and compliance
requirements. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting
principles and practices, with the ability to ensure the completeness,
accuracy, and integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day
  bookkeeping and accounting activities.
  
• Ensure accuracy of
  general ledger entries, reconciliations, and trial balances.
  
• Oversee accounts
  payable, receivable, and payroll processes.
  
• Prepare monthly,
  quarterly, and annual reports.
  

• Ensure adherence to
  statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable
  laws.
  
• Coordinate with
  auditors and tax consultants for statutory filings and audits.
  
• Maintain compliance
  documentation and update processes as per regulatory changes.
  

• Provide timely and accurate reports to management.
  

• Implement and manage accounting software/tools for efficient
  record-keeping.
  
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all financial
  transactions.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
• Professional certification (CA inter, CMA) preferred.
  
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting and compliance management.
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
