•Review and analyse technical specifications, bid documents, and scope of work for AIS & GIS
substations.
• Identify technical requirements, deviations, risks, and value -engineering opportunities.
• Ensure accurate interpretation of client requirements during the bidding cycle.
• Base Design – review single -line diagrams (SLD), general layout drawings, section drawings,
gas SLDs, and busbar configuration
for HV substations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, design standards, and internal engineering
guidelines.
• Manage end -to -end techno -commercial bid preparation for AIS/GIS substation projects.
• Prepare pre -bid queries, scope definitions, technical clarifications, and commercial impact
assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, site teams, sales teams, and engineering groups to gather required
inputs.
• Lead, guide, and mentor the bidding/tendering engineering team.
• Allocate workload, review deliverables, and ensure timely submission of bids.
• Foster collaboration between engineering, sales, procurement, and project management
teams.
• Evaluate technical and commercial impacts of customer specifications and tender conditions.
• Coordinate with clients and site teams to gather necessary design inputs and resolve
technical issues.
• Knowledge of Relevant IEC/IEEE standards for HV.
• Candidate should have good knowledge about AIS/GIS Substation Equipment
• Coordinating with sales and clients for design inputs.
• Review the vendor drawings and evaluate offers for making a contract.
• Additional know -how of CT parameter sizing, Type Test report review and witness experience
shall be preferred.
• Additional Technical Expertise
• Knowledge of CT sizing, CT parameter calculations, and burden analysis.
• Experience reviewing type test reports for HV equipment.
• Exposure to factory inspection, FAT, or type test witnessing is an added advantage.
