Job Description - Assistant Manager BIM (LOD 100300 / QC & Coordination)

Position Title: Assistant Manager – BIM (LOD 100–300 / QC & Coordination)
Department: Engineering / BIM Division
Location: Chennai / Project -Based
Experience Required: 6–10 Years

Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil, Architecture
• Certification in BIM/Revit will be an added advantage

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced BIM professional at Assistant Manager level who can handle BIM modeling activities from LOD 100 to LOD 300, perform quality checks (QC)and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and consultants for smooth project execution. The candidate should possess strong knowledge in BIM standards, clash coordination, and multidisciplinary model review processes.

Key Responsibilities
BIM Modeling & Development
• Develop and review BIM models from LOD 100 to LOD 300 based on project requirements
• Ensure modeling accuracy as per client standards and BIM execution plans
• Work on Architectural, Structural, and MEP coordination models
• Support project teams in model setup, family creation, and documentation 

Quality Control (QC)
• Conduct quality checks on BIM models, drawings, and deliverables
• Verify model compliance with project standards, naming conventions, and workflows
• Review clash reports and coordinate corrective actions with respective teams
• Ensure timely closure of QC comments and maintain quality records 

Coordination & Project Management
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and clients for BIM deliverables
• Participate in coordination meetings and technical discussions
• Track project progress, deliverables, and team performance
• Support project planning and resource allocation activities 

Team Handling
• Guide and mentor junior modelers and engineers
• Ensure team productivity and adherence to timelines
• Provide technical support and training whenever required

Software Skills Required
• Autodesk Revit
• Navisworks
• AutoCAD
• BIM 360 / ACC (preferred)
• Tekla / Allplan knowledge will be an added advantage

Required Skills
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes
• Experience in LOD 100–300 modeling standards
• Good knowledge of clash detection and model review processes
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in:
• Residential Projects
• Commercial Buildings
• Industrial / Infrastructure Projects
• Engineering Service Industry / AEC Industry
