Job Description - Assistant Manager Business Development

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 10-12 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 years

Location: Delhi

JobType: full-time

As an Assistant Manager – Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by building and scaling high-impact B2B and enterprise sales initiatives. This role is designed for a motivated professional who thrives in consultative selling environments, enjoys engaging with senior stakeholders, and has the ability to convert complex business needs into tailored solutions. Based in Delhi, this is a full-time opportunity to work closely with leadership while contributing directly to the organization’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end business development activities across B2B and enterprise segments, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new market opportunities through research, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with CXO-level stakeholders, understanding their business priorities and aligning offerings accordingly.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations by diagnosing client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and articulating clear value propositions.
  • Own and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely follow-ups, and consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, delivery, and leadership to ensure seamless proposal development and deal execution.
  • Participate in negotiations, commercial discussions, and contract finalization while maintaining a win-win approach.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve positioning.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and business forums to enhance brand presence and generate leads.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You have 3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or enterprise sales, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
  • You are skilled in consultative selling, able to ask the right questions, understand complex business challenges, and recommend customized solutions.
  • You are confident in engaging with CXO-level and senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • You possess excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management abilities.
  • You are target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • You bring strong analytical skills to assess opportunities, prioritize accounts, and optimize sales efforts.
  • You are collaborative by nature, working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver value to clients.
