## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n 1. Develops short-term and long-term goals for EHS risk management at the plant.\n 2. Support EHS Manager to Provides direction to plant for the development and deployment of safety and environmental strategy/actions , including but not limited to: OSHA Voluntary Protection Program, Return to work guidelines, Work hardening, Wellness Improvements, and Environmental compliance. \n 3. Handling of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage treatment plant (STP). Water Management \u0026 Distribution of water area wise. Efforts for water reduction \u0026 its usage, Solid waste management\n 4. Plans and implements training programs required statutory regulations and MESH such as Zero Incident Safety Culture (ZIC). Assists in training new employees.\n 5. Participates in planning and purchasing decisions regarding the potential EHS impact of new equipment, processes, and construction or renovation.\n 6. Coordination to develops recommended EHS budgeting inputs. Maintain monthly plant EHS scorecard ,containing TRCR, DACR, Water, Waste, GHG etc. Maintain the monthly Legal register.\n 7. Conduct and participate monthly safety committee meeting with safety committee members to solve the issue related to EHS.\n 8. Pollution Monitoring (Air Quality Monitoring, Noise Monitoring, Illumination Survey, Temperature and Humidity Survey, Water Analysis\n 9. Maintains and monitors current information and plant compliance on government EHS regulations and corporate policy.\n 10. Ensures that appropriate air pollution permits, sewer ordinance requirements \u0026 permits are current and are compiled with.\n 11. Prepares required reports, plans, and other government EHS filings and insures timely and accurate submission.\n 12. Maintains current information for the plant in the company environmental database and Daily reporting \u0026 data collection of solid waste/ waste water \u0026 results\n 13. Coordination to develop, write and maintain Job Safety Analysis, risk assessment, SOP for all processes related to EHS.\n 14. Coordination in evaluate jobs for possible ergonomic improvements (body mechanics, lifts, hoists, manipulators, etc.) and implement these work design changes.\n 15. Actively investigate all accidents, close calls, and near misses and follow up to ensure corrective actions are accomplished.\n 16. Controls and evaluates medical supply spending.\n 17. Prepares various reports relating to safety, health, and employees on leave.\n 18. Assists in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals. \n 19. Responsible for the implementation and deployment of actions to ensure compliance with ISO 14001, Quality systems, OSHA regulations, and all Statutory regulations and Local laws as they apply to their areas of responsibility.\n 20. Coordination with MESH element champion and support to MESH assessment and ISO 14001 audit.\n 21. Conduct and participate monthly safety committee meeting with safety committee members to solve the issue related to EHS\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nUp to 04 - 06 years related experience in EHS management.\n\nAttitude of a self-starter; ability to operate with minimal supervision\n\nGood interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to written and oral communication\n\n## Skills:\n\n| \n\n\u2022 Comprehension of industry, state/provincial, and country environmental, health, and safety legislative requirements. \n\u2022 Thorough knowledge of industrial chemistry and environmental pollution control technology and practices, especially in wastewater management and technologies \n\u2022 Adept at development and utilization of software solutions \n\u2022 Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes \n\u2022 Ability to demonstrate managerial courage (e.g., managing varied interests representing potential conflicts) \n\u2022 Ability to coordinate and support cross-functional process improvement teams \n\u2022 Professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or country equivalent \n \n---|---\n
