Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Audit Execution & Facilitation 

• 
  

  Audit Readiness: Support the Manager in ensuring the General Ledger (GL) and trial balance are audit-ready by performing monthly reconciliations and hygiene checks.

  
  


• 
  

  Primary Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for statutory, internal, and tax auditors. Handle ground-level queries and escalate complex issues to the Manager with proposed solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Documentation: Prepare comprehensive audit schedules, lead sheets, and supporting workpapers (as per IndAS) for the Manager’s review before submission to auditors.

  
  


• 
  

  Due Diligence Support: Assist the Manager in setting up and maintaining Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) for due diligence exercises, ensuring all financial documents are indexed and accurate.

  
  

2. Investor Support & Data Management 

• 
  

  Data Preparation: Assist the Manager in fulfilling routine and ad-hoc financial data requests from investors, ensuring 100% accuracy and consistency with reported financials.

  
  


• 
  

  Reporting Support: Prepare first drafts of monthly investor reporting decks and quarterly business reviews for the Manager’s final sign-off.

  
  


• 
  

  Query Tracking: Maintain an "Investor Query Tracker" to ensure all stakeholder requests are addressed within the stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (Mandatory).

  
  


• 
  

  Background: Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification experience, with a significant stint at a Big 4 (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG).

  
  


• 
  

  Technical Excellence: Deep understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial statement preparation.

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced Excel: Ability to handle large datasets, create automated templates, and use complex formulas/lookups for cost analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Growth Mindset: A candidate who is eager to transition from "auditing" a business to "building" one by supporting the Finance Manager.
