Job Description - Assistant Manager - HR

Workforce Management Support HR operations for a diverse employee base, ensuring timely resolution of workforce-related matters. Maintain accurate employee data and coordinate with internal teams for operational alignment Vendor Coordination Manage manpower vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Monitor deployment schedules and ensure operational efficiency. Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements. Maintain documentation for audits and ensure timely reporting to authorities. HR Documentation Maintain accurate records related to attendance, contracts, and compliance audits. Ensure timely updates in HRMS and physical records. Employee Life Cycle Management Recruitment & Onboarding Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions. Coordinate pre-joining formalities Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure smooth integration of new hire Manage HRMS updates including promotions, transfers, and salary changes. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation. Performance Management Facilitate goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals. Support managers in performance feedback and development planning. Maintain performance documentation and ensure timely completion of cycles. Employee Engagement & Relations Drive employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms. Address grievances and ensure timely resolution. Promote a positive work culture aligned with company values. Post-graduation specialization in Human Resources. Experience providing HR support to manufacturing and commercial teams in India, preferably with MNC Demonstrated strategic thinking capability and business acumen Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong hands-on experience
