Job Description - Assistant Manager/ Manager - BDR (Inbound/ Outbound Sales)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) – Inbound/Outbound Sales, the goal is to generate high-quality leads and set up meetings for the sales team, helping to fill the pipeline and accelerate revenue. This is an individual contributor role (IC) and the ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to closure, with a strong understanding of SaaS, CpaaS products and sales strategies.

Key responsibility areas:

  • Identify and research target accounts to build a strong outbound prospect list.
  • Execute cold outreach campaigns via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified leads.
  • Secure and schedule high-quality pitch meetings with decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct value-led initial conversations to spark interest and establish credibility with prospects.
  • Build and present use cases tailored to prospect needs, showing potential business impact.
  • Qualify leads thoroughly by assessing pain points, decision-making authority, budget, and readiness.
  • Deliver basic product pitches or demos where needed to progress opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach, conversations, and lead progress in the CRM.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align outreach strategy with business goals.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 3+ years of experience in outbound SaaS/technology sales, preferably in B2B.
  • Proven ability to generate meetings and pipeline through cold calling and outreach campaigns.
  • Strong experience in value pitching and lead qualification.
  • Exposure to engaging with CXO-level decision-makers and tailoring conversations to business priorities.
  • Skilled in building use cases and solution narratives to resonate with customer challenges.
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales cycles, pricing models, and CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot/Zoho).
  • Track record of consistently achieving outreach and lead generation targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.

Personal Skills:

•  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

•  Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships. Must be confident and assertive.

• Good collaboration skills to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
