Job Summary:
The role will support the planning and execution of South Marketing initiatives through campaign management, creative development, stakeholder coordination, and project management. The role will work closely with internal teams and agency partners to deliver catalogue marketing campaigns, regional brand initiatives, content marketing interventions, and marquee South marketing properties. The candidate will also support creative production, campaign localization, and event execution while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
About the team:
The South Marketing team is responsible for driving audience engagement and platform consumption across South language markets through region-specific marketing initiatives, catalogue marketing interventions, brand campaigns, and marquee South properties. The team drives projects that cut across content propositions and markets, while ensuring consistent implementation of brand guidelines and marketing playbooks across consumer touchpoints. Working closely with regional Marketing, Content, Creative, Social, PR, Production, and agency partners, the team serves as the central South marketing function alongside region specific marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign & Creative Execution
Execute South Marketing initiatives across catalogue content, Movies, TV Shows (GEC), Originals, and other regional priorities.
Drive catalogue marketing interventions to improve content visibility, discovery, and engagement.
Support implementation of marketing playbooks across digital and consumer touchpoints.
Manage campaign timelines, creative deliverables, and execution across South-led initiatives.
Creative Production & Quality Management
Partner with agencies and creative teams to develop campaign assets across video, design, social, and digital platforms.
Review creative output, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to JioHotstar brand guidelines across regional executions.
Resolve creative production challenges and delivery bottlenecks to ensure quality execution.
Stakeholder & Project Management
Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, and partners to deliver South marketing projects and campaigns.
Manage approvals, budgets, workflows, and localization of national brand campaigns for regional audiences.
Events & Special Projects
Support planning and execution of South Content Slate events, including creative planning, agency coordination, and on-ground execution.
Skills & Attributes for success:
Strong understanding of South Indian entertainment, pop culture, and consumer trends, with a pulse on emerging conversations and audience interests across markets.
Strong understanding of creative production workflows across video, design, social, and digital content production.
Good creative judgment with the ability to evaluate creatives and provide actionable feedback.
Project management, stakeholder management, and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve creative and production bottlenecks.
Working knowledge of creative tools and platforms such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, FCP etc
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams, agencies, and production partners.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree: in Visual Communication, Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies or related fields
MBA or Masters in Communication preferred (not mandatory)
