Assistant Manager Merchandising

• Executes the annual sales plan w.r.t. the respective brand handled, and expectations set for delivered & intake margins. Plans weekly and monthly budgets and forecasts with their achievement.


• Prepares OTB, plans phasing orders as per it and prepares sales / stock plans in conjunction with buyers.


• Reviews orders placed / cancellation / changes that affect OTB – Performance Monitor Review.


• Ensures product sales mix and space mix for the store layouts and produces layout plans for stores.


• Manages EOSS – End of Season Sale and seasonal wall launches.


• Liaisons with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors for ensuring work completion.


• Resolves any issues that arise with the vendors and ensures on-time delivery.


• Identifies production and supply difficulties and deals with any problems or delays as they arise.


• Initiates various reports (Daily, weekly and monthly reports) to understand categories performance and take appropriate actions.


• Undertakes competition studies / market trend analysis to understand current business vis-à-vis the current competitiveness of the products.
