Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Assistant Manager – Planning  located in Sriperumbudur

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management.

• Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods and processes in support of both new and existing products.

• Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.

• Reviews materials related data analyses.

• Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.

• Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.

• Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors.

• Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial competitiveness.

• Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Min 11+ years of experience in managing supply chain operations from manufacturing background.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.

• Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

• Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.

• Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
