Job Purpose: To assist in executing detailed project plans, managing budgets, monitoring project progress, and analyzing performance metrics. This role involves supporting the planning and control processes, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets, and coordinating with internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.




Responsibilities

Central or Site Project Planning & Control Executive or MIS Executive - Mining


Project Planning Assistance:


Support in Project Plan Development:


Aid in creating comprehensive project plans, detailing execution strategies, timelines, and resource allocation.


Compile necessary data to secure project clearances and identify infrastructure requirements.


Assist in formulating contracting strategies, including integrating APC contracts into the overall plan.


Resource and Budget Estimation:


Collect estimates from various departments to assist in accurate budgeting and resource planning.


Help in the ongoing refinement of micro plans to adapt to project changes and challenges.


Budgeting Support:


Assist in Budget Preparation:


Help prepare annual and monthly budgets by incorporating detailed project reports and cost estimates.


Contribute to the development of annual CAPEX plans and monthly budget plans, ensuring alignment with project requirements.


Collaboration with Cluster Heads:


Work with cluster heads to review and adjust site budgets, ensuring their feedback is incorporated into the central PRMC budget.


Support the alignment of budget plans with the project schedule, ensuring precise activity-based costing.


Monitoring and Control:


Project Monitoring Support:


Assist in the daily tracking of project schedules and budgets, providing updates and reports to the Project Planning and Control Lead.


Monitor project timelines and communicate updates to process owners and cluster heads to maintain alignment.


Deviation Analysis and Coordination:


Identify and report deviations from baseline schedules and budgets, assisting in analyzing their impact.


Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to resolve project issues.


Risk Management and Analysis Support:


Risk Register Maintenance:


Assist in developing and maintaining the project risk register, documenting potential risks and mitigation strategies.


Help conduct root cause analyses to identify risks and support the implementation of mitigation plans.


Mitigation Strategy Assistance:


Aid in preparing and executing mitigation plans to address identified risks and ensure project continuity.


Reporting and Documentation:


Support in Report Preparation:


Assist in preparing detailed performance reports for senior management, including the CEO and Chairman’s office.


Help document meeting minutes and ensure timely submission and review of project updates and decisions.


Performance Tracking:


Aid in providing regular updates on project performance against baseline assumptions, highlighting significant deviations.


Ensure transparent and accurate reporting to support informed decision-making by senior management.


Execute Digital Tasks with Proficiency:


Digital Dexterity:


Utilize assigned digital tools and software to complete daily tasks accurately and efficiently.


Continuously upskill in emerging digital technologies relevant to the role.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
