Position Title

PMO- Assistant Manager (EPC Projects)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for program governance, planning, monitoring, cost control, and execution of EHV/HV transmission EPC projects (UG Cables & Substations). The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant project delivery while coordinating cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Contracts, and key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling – Develop project schedules, track milestones, and manage critical paths.


• Cost Management – Control budgets, cash flows, cost performance, and value engineering.


• Project Controls – Monitor KPIs, MIS reporting, dashboards, and corrective actions.


• Contract Management – Manage EPC contracts, claims, EOTs, variations, and compliance.


• Risk Management – Identify, track, and mitigate project and commercial risks.


• Procurement Coordination – Align procurement, vendor performance, and material deliveries.


• Engineering Coordination – Track design approvals and engineering deliverables.


• Construction Monitoring – Oversee site progress, commissioning, and HSE compliance.


• Governance & Reporting – Lead PMO reporting, reviews, audits, and stakeholder updates.


• Digital & Process Excellence – Drive PM tools, ERP adoption, SOPs, and analytics.

Critical Success Factors - Essential

• 3-7 years in EPC / Infrastructure projects. Minimum 5+ years in PMO or program management roles.


• Strong experience in EHV/HV (132kV, 220kV, 400kV) transmission projects. Exposure to large-scale EPC project environments


• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical / Civil preferred)


• PMP / PRINCE2 certification (highly desirable)
