Position: Assistant Manager - Pricing (Ocean Freight Exports)

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Work Model: 5 days Work From Office

We are excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Manager - Pricing in Ocean Exports. This role is crucial for managing the pricing and quotation process, serving as the key contact for the client's pricing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain competitive internal tariffs for major carriers across key trade lanes.
Explore opportunities to secure long-term rate contracts with major carriers.
Drive new business through competitive pricing and enhance existing business through effective carrier and procurement management.
Build and sustain strong relationships with carriers to secure the best pricing, capacity, and equipment.
Optimize sales and profitability through strategic pricing.
Review and improve contractual terms and procurement strategies to enhance net margins.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 6-7 years of experience with a reputed freight forwarder, including at least 3 years in Ocean Exports Pricing.
Proven experience handling pricing for at least 200 containers per month.

Skills & Requirements:

Strong decision-making abilities under pressure.
Experience with Freehand business pricing for a minimum of 200 containers per month.
Excellent connections and relationships with carriers.
Knowledge of Service Contracts for US business and the ability to negotiate long-term agreements for non-US business.
Proficiency in data gathering, interpretation, and analytical problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
