Assistant Manager - Production Planning & Control (Aerospace, Precision Machining)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail -oriented Assistant Manager – PPC to oversee production planning, scheduling, and control functions within a precision machining environment. The role requires strong coordination across departments, a data -driven approach to planning, and the ability to ensure on -time delivery while optimizing resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to ensure optimal machine utilization
  
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer delivery timelines
  
• Manage customer communication regarding order status, timelines, and commitments
  
• Lead raw material planning and coordinate closely with procurement and suppliers
  
• Monitor inventory levels, including raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels
  
• Track production progress and proactively implement corrective actions to meet targets
  
• Collaborate with cross -functional teams including Production, Purchase, and Quality to ensure seamless operations
  
• Utilize ERP/SAP systems for production planning, tracking, and reporting
  
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel
  
• Lead, guide, and develop the PPC team to drive efficiency and accountability
