We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager - Sales to join our growing sales team in Kochi, India. In this pivotal role, you will support the sales leadership in driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales initiatives, and fostering strong customer relationships. You will be instrumental in identifying market opportunities, executing sales programs, and leading a collaborative team to achieve organizational objectives. • Analyze market conditions, competitive landscape, and industry trends to develop and recommend effective sales strategies and programs for assigned segments
• Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnership development
• Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop comprehensive strategic sales plans and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets; prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients
• Design and execute customized sales initiatives and action plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets, providing coaching, feedback, and support to foster professional development
• Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare detailed weekly and monthly sales reports, and provide regular forecasts and market analysis to senior management
• Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional departments including marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure optimal customer experience and operational efficiency
• Implement cost-effective resource utilization strategies and educate the team on best practices for efficiency and productivity
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner, maintaining transparency and professionalism
• Stay informed about industry developments, special events, and business opportunities that could enhance sales performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols, maintaining a secure and productive work environment
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational needs

**Required Skills and Experience:**

• Proven experience in sales management, business development, or a related sales role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make decisive, data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
• Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management and account management
• Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analysis
• Experience in team leadership, performance management, and employee motivation
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Negotiation skills and ability to close deals while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Proficiency with CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing market conditions

**Education:**

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration
• Experience in the retail, hospitality, or B2B sales environment
• Familiarity with digital sales platforms and marketing automation tools
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Experience with team training and development programs
