  • Should be a Graduate Mechanical Engineer preferably with Post graduate degree / Diploma in Materials Management.
  
  
  
  


• Should have 8 to 12  years of experience in Manufacturing ( both castings &  heavy fabrication )  in reputed companies / MNCs.


• Domain Expertise in the following.
  
  
  
  • Supplier Onboarding with due diligence and evaluation
  
  
  • RFQ and Negotiations skills
  
  
  • Global Sourcing understanding preferred.
  
  
  • Cost management
  
  
  • On time Delivery
  
  
  • Compliance requirements in sourcing.
  
  
  • Vendor development process.
  
  
  • Experience of Inventory, procurement and subcontracting audits’ handling is preferred.
  
  
  
  

• Sourcing of castings, forgings, fabricated parts &  machined components.


• Strong understanding of Foundry processes including pattern making , casting pouring , heat treatment etc


• Good understanding of Fabricated parts ( including heavy fabrication ) , Precision Machining & associated accuracies

Soft Skills-

• Excellent communicator in spoken and written English.


• Documentation and records maintenance.


• Data analysis and decision making.

SAP Expertise

• Knowledge of MM modules in sourcing.


• Exposure to SAP HANA is preferred

Personality -

• Good communicator


• Fluent in written, spoken, communications in local and English language.


• Solution providing approach with objectivity in mind.


• Should motivate and develop team members


• Good in giving & open to take feedback.


• Experience in people management.
