Role Overview 

The Assistant Manager – Supply Chain (Warehouse Operations)
is reach52's on-ground representative based at the Clearing & Forwarding Agent's (CFA) warehouse, responsible for centrally managing the CFA relationship on reach52's behalf. Rather than running the warehouse directly, the role oversees and monitors the CFA's inventory accuracy, storage compliance, and dispatch performance, working closely with Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to ensure the CFA delivers to reach52's standards and SLAs. 

Key Responsibilities 

Inventory & Stock Management 

• Monitor and verify stock records maintained by the CFA; conduct periodic physical stock audits 

• Track the CFA's batch tracking, expiry monitoring, and FEFO
  compliance 

• Reconcile CFA-reported stock data against reach52's ERP system (Odoo) 

Warehouse Operations & Compliance 

• Monitor the CFA's storage practices for compliance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Good Storage Practice (GSP) norms 

• Review temperature and humidity monitoring logs maintained by the CFA for temperature-sensitive products where applicable 

• Conduct periodic site checks to ensure safety, hygiene, and SOP adherence at the CFA facility 

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination 

• Coordinate with the CFA on inbound/outbound dispatch schedules and priorities 

• Track delivery timelines and escalate dispatch or transit issues to the CFA for resolution 

• Liaise with field force and sales teams on stock availability and replenishment via the CFA 

Documentation & Reporting 

• Verify GRNs, delivery challans, and other statutory documentation submitted by the CFA 

• Consolidate MIS reports on stock levels, dispatches, and CFA performance for management 

• Support internal and external audits, coordinating with the CFA for facility access and records 

CFA Relationship Management 

• Serve as reach52's primary point of contact at the CFA warehouse, monitoring day-to-day performance 

• Track CFA SLA adherence, flag deviations, and support commercial discussions/renewals 

• Verify CFA invoices and billing against contracted rates and services rendered; align CFA staff with reach52's SOPs for handling and storage 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Graduate in any discipline; diploma/degree in supply chain or logistics preferred 

• 2-4 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management or C&F agent/vendor management, preferably in pharma or FMCG 

• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or similar) 

• Familiarity with Drugs and Cosmetics Act storage requirements is an advantage 

• Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills; comfortable working independently at a partner site
