As an assistant manager of SEO/GEO, you will be instrumental in defining and executing comprehensive SEO strategies and roadmaps for a portfolio of clients. This role is critical for driving organic growth, ensuring continuous performance improvement through data-driven solutions, and aligning SEO initiatives directly with client business goals. You will also lead a high-performing team, supporting capability building and maintaining high standards of delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Define and drive overall SEO strategy and roadmap for clients, aligning with business goals and growth targets.
Collaborate with internal teams (content, performance, tech) and serve as the primary client contact for all SEO initiatives.
Lead the planning and execution of scalable SEO strategies for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring long-term impact.
Oversee keyword research and content strategy development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and search intent.
Provide strategic direction for technical SEO, including comprehensive audits, issue prioritization, and implementation roadmaps.
Drive organic growth, traffic quality, and ROI maximization by defining and tracking key SEO KPIs.
Monitor and optimize performance across key SEO metrics (e.g., CTR, rankings, conversions), ensuring continuous improvement.
Present insightful performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients and leadership.
Identify performance gaps and opportunities, implementing data-driven solutions for continuous improvement.
Manage and scale a high-performing SEO team, fostering accountability and professional growth.
Conduct quality assurance and strategic reviews of team deliverables to maintain high standards.
Drive team capability building and knowledge sharing through structured training and upskilling initiatives.
Optimize SEO processes for efficiency and productivity.
Stay current with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in SEO, with a strong focus on strategy and execution.
1+ years of experience in managing and developing a team of SEO professionals.
Demonstrated success in independently managing large client accounts and leading end-to-end SEO initiatives.
Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and lead strategic discussions with stakeholders.
Deep understanding of SEO research principles and data analysis methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related analytical field (preferred).
