Assistant Manager/ Sr. Executive - Sales & Marketing

Ø Purpose of Position

• Business Development for B&I Business line for all Product Line.


• The position performs in line with the Bureau  Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Ø Major Responsibilities

• Business Development for all product portfolio for Building and Infrastructure Business Lines – (Products – Geotech, Material Testing, Design Review, QA/QC, PMA, NDT-RR, HSE Audits & Training)


• Responsible for Own part of Sales Budget of the region.


• Maintaining an adequate and robust sales pipeline for upcoming years


• Meeting Sales KPIs of Thrust Areas identified by SAR management (SPP)


• Identifying and developing the sales team


• Working under the purview of  BV code of ethics promoting a free and fair competitive market as per SAR guidelines.


• Recognizing the prospective clients in the region, and create a data base.


• Early identification and follow up of major projects, opportunities & tenders.


• Identification, preparation and submission of pre-qualification, expression of interest, offers & tenders.


• Visiting prospective clients to present BV services and to identify the client need as an opportunity to BV, follow up actions and keeping the respective division heads in communication loop.


• Efficient in using the marketing tools such as Sales Force, presentation material, company profile, service sheets, reference list, completion/appreciation letters, etc.


• Keeping in touch with the various publicity activities in the region such as exhibitions, seminars, conferences etc. and explore the possibility of showcasing the organization and  services.


• Interacting with the Product Mangers & BD managers of HO and other regions for mutual exchange of expertise, work, common clients and other references.

Ø Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.                                                                                       


• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable


• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.    


• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.


• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects

Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

• Sales & other financials as per business plan/ Budget.


• SPP targets


• Client relationship – Retention and Growth.


• Cost control (Sales with Adequate OP as per regional budget)


• Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.


• Development and management of human resources ( If any reporting to position)

Ø Qualification and Experience

• Engineering Graduate  with 8-10 years relevant experience in Sales & Marketing. Additional qualification: post graduate degree in Management is preferable.

• Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills & Good personal hygiene.


• Should have good computer & analytical skills


• Good communication Skills
