Job Description - Assistant Manager - Valuation & Biz -Modeling

Department: Business Valuation & Investment Banking

Associate/Sr. Associate/ Assistant Manager/ Manager - 1 position (min 3 to 5 years exp. in business valuation)

Note: For this position you can consider the Registered Valuer of Securities & Financial Assets.

Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant (CA/CFA)
- Semi Qualify
Experience : 3 to 5 years prior experience in business valuation

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

Department and Client Management focused on the growth of business
Allocation/Self Execution/Review/Finalization of Team's work
Research on Valuation Aspects, industrial research, company profiles, ratio analysis, etc.
On Job Team training while reviewing works
Review/Execution of Business Valuations, Regulatory Valuations, Financial Reporting Valuations, IBC Valuations ; Securities or Financial Assets
Ensuring compliance with systems/processes and documentation
Submission of valuation reports for Final Review/Signatures after a thorough review of the approach /process and also documentation to ensure that valuation is properly supported

Skills :

Thorough Professional focused on meeting client needs
Good command of Valuation and Finance concepts
Experience in Business / Financial Modeling
Understanding of Valuation Standards and generally accepted principles
Knowledge of Industry -wise Valuations, Trends, and Deals taking place
Thorough understanding and Application of Valuation approaches and methodologies (Discounted Cash Flow Method, Equity Method, Discounted Cash Flow Method Firm Method, Comparable Companies Trading Multiple (CCM) Method, Comparable Companies Transaction Multiple (CTM) Method, Option Pricing Method (Black Scholes/Binomial Method)
Knowledge of Indian Regulatory Environment about Valuations
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good verbal and written communication
Ability to handle multiple clients/assignments
Organized and able to meet deadlines
